Statement
Mr Janvier Ngnoulaye holds a PhD in educational technology. He is currently a teacher in ICT at the University of Yaounde 1 in Cameroon. He has 15 years of experience in Networking and Internet. He is the ICT manager of the IGNU which is the NREN of Cameroon.
He is the current primary Afrinic Board Member for the Central Africa Region. He helped to host the Afinic-15 meeting in Yaounde in 2011 (Apply for the Country) He's successfully run the project ImpactIPv6 awarded in 2012 and 2013 by ISOC (Community Grant programme), with the support of Afrinic, that consisted to educate and train the key players involved in the chain of development and deployment of IPv6 in Cameroon. Inside the ICANN Community, he is a member of the Working Group on Data & Metrics for Policy Making. He wants to re- stand as board member during these elections for the Central Africa Region, for continuing to deal with the other board members the great challenges of IP addresses on the Continent.

I'll continue to be the ambassador of IPv6 into my country and into the Central Africa Region, as I started doing it since my first term (personnally involved in IPv6 training, advises to the governement and to the ISP for the IPv6 transition. Now, most of them got their IPv6 block. -I'll continue to follow and contribute to the current discussion which is centered around the IANA Transition process, this will help me to consider broad Internet policy issues in order to ensure that the policies and strategies of AFRINIC fully respond to the changing Internet environment ( I'm member of some major mailling lists: This email address is being protected from spambots. I'll continue to act for directing and supervising the management of the business of Afrinic (contributions on strategy plan, board discussions, board resolutions, ...). -I'll continue to promoting good governance. -During my first term, I worked with two major committees: The Bylaw and the Audit. I'll continue to work with these committees, as it could have a new review of the bylaw, and I'll continue to work with the Audit Committee for getting the Audit report on time during my term.
